My boot is about all the proof you get this week. You may recall the hills in the background from another picture taken a few weeks ago. Posted by Picasa

This one was taken looking north from a rocky outcropping across Paddy Gap. I had to bushwack my way up to this point. One of my coworkers told me that a giant sat on top of the mountain, leaving the distinct rear-end impression. Posted by Picasa

"The Halfmoon" - a line of exposed rock streching overtop the entrance to Paddy Cove. I tried going fishing in the small stream below - no luck, I"m afraid. Posted by Picasa

The Reverse Angle: Paddy Cove, looking west. The last few pictures I took were from the summit of that powerline clearing. Posted by Picasa

Tuscarora Trail #2. Posted by Picasa
I'm standing on North Mountain, looking east into Virginia- the order from back to front is Blue Ridge, Massenutten, Little North Mountain ,then Paddy Mountain. I love Topozone.

Tuscarora Trail #1

Back on the trails! The audio links havebeen removed, since I would need to pay for an online storage service. There's no way. Posted by Picasa
All of these clips were taken on the trail as I took the pictures. It was an awsome day to go hiking- perfect weather. I spent half an hour laying on a log, soaking in the warm weather with just a T-shirt and jeans and relaxing. I only hiked 6-miles in an out-and-back along the VA-WV border. Anyhow, leave me a note if the audio doesn't work. You may have to load the wav file into a new window, as I don't know how to make the link do that automatically.
